PASKAL

A principal elite unit in the royal Malaysian navy embarks on a mission to rescue a tanker that was hijacked by Somali pirates. Naval unit Pascal is among the most elite Special Forces in Malaysia. But all bets are off when one of its own stages a hijacking based on true events.

For better or for worse, this film is based on true piracy on elite Malaysian armed forces. The film follows the true events if Pascal’s lieutenant commander Arman Anwar and his teams mission under the name ‘operation dawn 8, gulf of eden’ during the united nations peace keeping mission in Angola on the year 1996, and the successful rescue of the seized tanker vessel in 2011.

PALTAN

Paltan is an Indian war film based on the 1967 nathu l.a and cho la clashes along the Sikkim border, after the 1962 Sino Indian war, this film received a reception of a generally poor reviews.

The critics find the execution of the film largely ineffective for a war film with caricature characters and extremely long routine. The publishers of the times of India gave it a 3 out of 5 star rate calling it a long drawn war-drama that picks up only during the final moments of the film. Finally the film was theatrically premiered on the 7^th of September 2018.

URI THE SURGICAL STRIKE

Uri the surgical strike is a dramatized preset of the retaliation to the 2016 attack by four heavily armed militants on the 18ht of September 2016, near the town of Uri in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Uri attack was recorded as the deadliest attack on security forces in two decades.

Indian army Special Forces carry out a covert operation, avenging the killing of fellow army men at their base by a terrorist group. The film was theatrically premiered on the 27^th of September 2018.
